About the Black Rhino
Based on their class Animalia the Black Rhino heart has a 4-chambered heart.
The way Black Rhinos reproduce is by Offspring. Every two and a half to five years, a female rhino will reproduce. Female Rhinos carry their young for a gestation period of 15 to 16 months. They usually only have one baby at a time, though they do sometimes have twins.
Black rhinos have bad eyesight but they have excellent hearing.
Black rhinos are the third biggest of the five types of rhino.
Black rhinos love eating plants. Up to 220 different types!

As we see in the photo a Black rhino's horn is cut off after being shot dead. This is called Rhino poaching and the practice has escalated in recent years and is being driven by the demand for rhino horn in Asian countries, particularly Vietnam. It is used in Traditional Chinese Medicine but more and more commonly now it is used as a status symbol to display someone's success and wealth.
