Four of the most important events in racing history are:

Triple Crown Picture
In the Kentucky Derby, Belmont, and Preakness Stakes, only 3-year-old stallion colts are allowed to race. If a colt races all three races and finishes first in all three races, then he is honored with the title of Triple Crown Champion.
The Breeders Cup Classic allows all horses of any age and racing ability to compete in it. There is no limit on how many times a horse and rider pair can win the classic, since many horses compete in back-to-back years.
